Fruit 'n' Veg Man

Not much time for blipping today. We spent it in the garden, scrubbing the decking and preparing the summerhouse for a coat of stain.

Henry spent the time planting some more of his veg garden. He takes this task very seriously and we now have tomatoes, chillies, lettuce, butternut squash and lots of herbs. He's also planted a couple of pumpkins and some Cantaloupe melons. The last of these is something of a wild-card as the bumpf on the back of the seed packet all sounds a tad complicated...hand-fertilising the female flowers is rather more involved than 'water as required' but Noah likes melons and Henry was determined to grow him some. Who am I to stand in the way of brotherly love!
