Red Tulip on its way out!

Have been mostly housebound today apart from a visit to the docs. Conjunctivitis and a skin lurgy/allergy have ;left me with weepy eyes and attractive red blotches. Suppose I could have snapped some of them but then again perhaps best not to!

This is one of my tall red tulips - about 18 inches which has been flowering now for well over a month. Sadly the wind and heavy rain we had on Sunday morning have put an end to its bloom and this is all that remains.....till next year
