Monster Meringues

After breaking the food mixer recently with a rather large batch of mayonaisse I had to go back to making meringues by hand. They turned out to be the best I have made in ages. Each egg made a meringue approximately 6" in diameter and about 4" high. Along with the homemade Hershey's Syrup Chocolate Ice Cream they were a wonderful dessert treat.
