Blue Riband

I got my first DSLR camera on Friday, and my bf and I played with it all night... then I had to work on Saturday, Sunday and Monday. Today was my first day off, so I went to Cosmeston Lakes to put it through it's paces.

One of the first features I discovered on Friday was the colour extract filter... when I spotted this bright blue biscuit wrapper amongst the leaves today, it screamed out for colour extract... this was all done in-camera, in about 30 seconds.

I think it's pretty cool. If I was a little more pretentious, I'd claim it's a comment on the blatancy of capitalist-consumer society's colonisation and destruction of our natural habitat. But really, I just think it looks pretty cool.
