Stating the obvious

My dietician advised that if I eat cheese it should be white rather than red (one of those simple rules of thumb that so effectively stick in the memory). Mind you, the recommended maximum weekly portion of cheese is minuscule, and this pack far exceeds it. Still, I like the odd bit of cheese now and again, and I dod like to have some in the fridge.

It was only when I went to open this pack that I noticed the 'ready to eat' statement on the wrapping. Huh? Why do they feel it necessary to include this statement? What che ese isn't ready to eat?
