Blue beauty

It's such a beautiful day today. The boys are down for a nap, so I have a moment to post.

My mom came late last night, so she was here when the boys woke up today. They sure love their Nani, and we don't get to see her as often as they'd like. We woke up early and got ready for the day.

We were going to attend the SCA event in Gold Beach, but then we weren't sure if they would let us in without the medieval period clothes. It's about a 2 hour drive, so we decided to stay close to home. We headed downtown to the firework tent to get all our fire and pop for tomorrow night. The boys are really excited of course. Then we headed over to Goodwill to see if we could find an old Canon lens for my son's Canon EOS Elan that a man gave him last night (the same man I bought a Tamron 28-200mm lens from!!!!). Anyways, they didn't have any old lens' but they did have an adorable little wooden table with 2 chairs. They will be having tea when the wake from their nap I've been informed.

We then headed out for some tidepooling at Cape Arago beach. The sun was amazing, and the sky was completely blue. We wore t-shirts and flip flops and even went in the water. The boys ran all over the beach, played in the water, found dead jelly fish, more dead jelly fish, and poked at sea anemone's.

On our way home, we stopped off at the look out to see the seals and sea lions out on the rocks.

The day isn't over, but I think we're all pretty pooped!
