Wintersweet

A quiet day in preparation for the return to work tomorrow......

I planted this shrub in my garden 2 or 3 years ago and it's now producing some absolutely glorious flowers - and smells! It really does have the most amazing scent to it - I think I may have to cut a few flower-laden twigs to bring some freshness to the office tomorrow.

If only that was all it takes!

On the bright side though, I've noticed that it was still light-ish at 5.30pm yesterday......and 5.40pm today so, by the end of the week, by my figuring, we should make it to 6.00pm before the light goes out.
