The Carse

This panorama is taken from where Stirling's Worldwide Photowalk began this morning, on the castle. Around 25 of us (from around 33500 others across the globe on similar walks) mingled with the busloads of tourists and had an enjoyable wander from here down through the town visiting some of the historical sights. It would have been even nicer had the sun shone but the fact it stayed dry gave us decent photography conditions. And the baked tattie and haggis afterwards was very tasty too.

Thanks to Blipper for giving us the heads-up on this event, and it was good to eventually catch up with him after numerous near misses over the past year.

I'm sure there'll be other pictures on blip from the other walks around the world so I'm going to have a wee look just now to see if I can track some down.
