Sunset

Not a Shetland sunset but still as far north as we are in Bergen. This is shot that I've taken for many years as it is now tradition. Working from the net book so don't think the finish is as it should be. There used to be a ferry from Lerwick to Bergen which was very handy as we could take the car and stock up with food. Since the Norrona stopped coming into Lerwick in 2007 we have flown over. Twice from Aberdeen and this year a second time from Shetland. The flight today only took 50 minutes - Edinburgh from Shetland is around 90 minutes.

Been coming to Norway since 1998 and see no reason to stop and with no bairns with us these days it seems almost a cheap place to come on holiday - provided you don't want to eat out - hence we do self catering.
