Cloud over the Kent

It was a day of heavy rain and cloudy skies. Opportunities to get out were limited by the showers, but I stopped at Sandside on my way home from work. This was the view up the Kent into the Lake District, the clouds were boiling in the sky and there were showers in the air and the picture has a fuzzy, almost water colour appearance.

I was tempted to blip a picture of Ploughman's spikenard (here), a flower of dry limestone grasslands that I came across in the evening at Gait Barrows. But Wifie said that was because I'm a botanist, whereas others might not see its subtle attractions. So Cloud over the Kent it is.
