The Festival Cavalcade

I am sure there were all kind of bright and cheerful photo opportunities this afternoon in Holyrood Park but as I walked back from an enjoyable afternoon's chinwag and pints in The Cask and Barrel (Southside) under the pretention of watching the Community Shield the aftermath was none too pleasant. From where I was stading when I took this you could almost choke on the smell of the bins, and if I had been a tad quicker there was sea of gulls fighting for scraps.

Later I perfected the art of Pan Frying Pigeon Breast (1½ mins a side then rest for 10), which was nice.
