Hospital Chapel

Today has been a long and difficult day.

It started off with work, that was ok, except it was raining. This is because yesterday it was 27c, and as it's winter somebody obviously decided that it was way too warm, so dumped a load of rain on to us and made it cold again.

After work, it was off to the hospital, for my son's treatment. I thought we'd only be a couple of hours. Wrong! They decided he needed a blood transfusion - I wont go into all the things that went on but needless to say we were there for many more hours than we thought we would be.

We are now very tired, frustrated and depressed.

So as you can imagine there wasn't much time to take photos, but I did wander off for a while, whilst my son had a doze, and found the hospital chapel.

The photo doesn't do it justice, but this was a rather beautiful hand embroidered covering for the altar.

To everyone out there with children, give them all an extra hug tonight and tell them all they are very special. Because you never know what's around the corrner, we didn't.
