The Master Gardner

An amazing sunny day to ponder the Master Gardner of my soul as I worked in the garden at the Cottage. Too many beautiful pictures to choose one, will have to expand the album on the Annie's Cottage page of FB.
As I pruned and pulled away flowers and leaves that were spent, to give the plants the ability to focus their energy on the new growth, I pondered how the Master Gardner often has to prune away things from my life that were yesterdays blooms to redirect the energy of my life into the blooms of my today's and my tomorrow's. Regular pruning keeps things looking wonderful. Regular pruning of my heart, my attitudes, my passions, keeps me alive and thriving. The results are amazing!
