Beautiful Bideford Mute Swan

There were in fact an eyrar of swans to use one of the many collective nouns - bevy, herd, whiteness, gargle, wedge, bank.. the list is endless! I think 'eyrar' is another word for 'brood' but please correct me if I'm wrong!

They were so relaxed, just floating amongst the sparkling lighted water of the River Taw, I watched them for ages & in turn they watched me & came closer. :)
