Transfixed by the TV

It was Aidan's second day at nursery today, and it was a bit more successful than yesterday. Not that yesterday was particularly bad mind you - he just didn't sleep for that long, and was a bit over-tired when we got him home. However, he managed to sleep for a bit longer today, and made a better effort with the nursery food too.

There were some tears when he seen us coming up the stairs to collect him (mrs monochrome had picked me up on the way home), however he was fine when his mummy had given him a wee cuddle. He wasn't as crabby when we got home either - he seemed content to play with his toys a bit more than last night. I also think he's missing the TV, seeing as he's a bit of a TV addict and doesn't get to watch it all day at nursery.

In other news, the LittleLife backpack (from yesterday's blip) worked wonders today, and made the journey so much easier than using the buggy. Even though it was raining, I just took an umbrella and the wee man was sheltered from the worst of it (although I might still get the rain cover for when the weather is really bad).
