Wet Crocuses

The continuing drizzle is not good for the little crocuses.

Last night I slept through a 4.2 magnitude earthquake. Lucky me. In Christchurch they are not so lucky. Yesterday's big aftershock was the last straw for many traumatised and sleep deprived people. Those that can are leaving, just for a few days to get some sleep and rest their frazzled nerves. Some parents are sending their children to relatives for a while. The stress is already showing up in statistics. There has been a more than 50% rise in domestic violence since the big earthquake.

The continuing aftershocks grind you down. It's not just the big things like walls or roofs collapsing, but the little things as well.
