Social Butterfly...

We walked into nursery today and Bethany was pottering about by herself around the back of the play area.

We've seen this a few times, just sitting on her own, quite content playing with some trinket or other so asked one of the looker-after'ers about it wondering if this was typical behavior during the day.

Turns out she is a bit of a social butterfly, interacting with all the other children really well. Apparently there is just one wee boy who has taken a real shine to her and won't leave her alone. He's a bit too touchy feely for her liking.

Interestingly, all the toddlers in her section of the nursery do the same thing. They all play together throughout the day but then near the end of the day, they all kind of break-away and generally mess about by themselves as they wait to be picked up by parents.

Could be an interesting experiment there for some social sciences student.
