Onward to Pondicherry

It was a Sunday well spent at my aunt's. It was great to spend time with them and their animals :) Their home is more of a zoo and they own 2 dogs, 2 cats, 3 cockatoos, guinea pigs and 60 pigeons!! It was great fun and I got nipped by one of their dogs who was extremely cautious and irritated with my camera.

We started off in the evening and drove through ECR road which though was beautiful, had a bad reputation of speeding and erratic drivers. We were very very cautious not to get in their way as they ignored signals of all kinds and drove as if they were the only ones on the 2 lane road.

We reached Pondicherry in the extreme heat and humidity common to the region. We checked in to a sea facing room ad I planned to get up early to see the sunset.
