rose bud

imagine my surprise when i stumbled upon this... a rose bud at this time of the year. i would've thought they'd be long gone by now but here was this tiny little cluster tucked into an evergreen. i endured some scratches and a thorne in my toe, plus those few stares i'm growing used to now from strangers, to get off some shots...
