Banking metaphor?

The pic was taken this afternoon in the local shopping broadway. Like many of our High Streets the shop fronts are clad in modern tat.

I noticed this one being renovated. I have no idea what it's most recent incarnation was but with shell removed there are two choices of identity.

Bank or Undertakers ?

Your guess is as good as mine but I thought it illustrated the recent events in the banking world as well as the optimism we all hope fir.

Renovation is a costly thing but it heralds hope. Here's hoping for something brighter from the current gloom.

The outline of the old bank signage and the clean definition of the funeral hearse carving were also very pleasing on the eye.
