Old Town Sunset

Calton Hill was literally overran with photographers tonight and no wonder since we got one of the best sunsets all year tonight. For me it was my 3rd attempt at a Calton sunset in a little over a week, with the first 2 ending in non events. Tonights though was something else.

This was a shot taken as I was leaving. I had put the Lensbaby on just for a few last shots and never actually took this one with a "normal" lens, not that I think it suffers for it at all.

What was significant to me tonight though is that from the 6 shots or so I'll fire up onto Flickr there's not one HDR in the lot whereas before, all would have been HDR so progress being made with the filters at last I hope.
