Bike ride

Spence was feeling a bit better today, thankfully! Hardly any whinging! Spence and I went down to the workshop in the garage this morning and made a 'boot taker-offer-a'! It is just a rectangle piece of wood with a 'v' shape cut out of one end, then a bit of 4x2 or something screwed to the middle across the bottom so it acts like a seesaw. You stand on the back end with one foot which lifts up the front end so you can put the heel of your boot in the 'V' and pull your boot off without touching it! Very handy for winter when there is lots of mud about!

We went and did the food shopping for the week this morning and then this afternoon after Spence's sleep, him and I went for a bike ride! It's been ages since we have used the bikes so we had to dust them off first! We rode up to the park and back again!

It's Melbourne Cup day tomorrow (the horse race that apparently 'stops the nation'!) Kaz isn't working so we are deciding whether to go down to Mum and Dad's for the day or not!
