SLOW

This was a slow motion day. Everything seemed to last an eternity. Waiting for this, waiting for that. More cups of tea. And then you head home, and hit the ground running. Tea, change, football, next, next, next.

Thank heavens for the slow cooker, which sat in its box for a number of years before I discovered its wonder. At breakfast, while there was still pace to the day, I made tea, put it in the slow cooker, and when I came home, later than usual, there it was piping hot and ready to go. Better than a mug of hot chocolate on a cold day.

Not only that but it obliged with a blip when all creativity and energy had slowly been drained away. Thank you slow cooker - a phrase not many will use today!
