Opportunistic Kookaburra!

Are Kookaburras the equivalent of the ubiquitous British sparrow picking up scraps from the Aussie table? Two of them arrived as we were eating our evening meal at the Mingara Sport & Social Club. I've seen them very close to houses before but this is the first time I've witnessed them dropping in for dinner! The food from the restaurant was very good and I had Barramundi, chips and salad. Mmmmm!
