Misty morning at Pioneer Park

Saturday
We woke to a very foggy morning, but by the time I'd had my morning cup of tea and got dressed the sun was beginning to try and burn it off. I decided to have a quick photo walk around Pioneer Park. This shot was one of the later ones, where the sun is obviously winning. I couldn't spend too long at the park however, as we had to get to church for 9.45. We were very shocked earlier in the week to read an e-mail informing us of the sudden death of one of our fellow church choir members. Ed was one of our basses, and also sang in the mens group Sons of Sycamore. Because of the importance of these two groups in Ed's life, the family had asked if one or both groups could sing at his memorial service, which was this morning. This is the second choir member we've lost this year - Diane, a fellow alto, died suddenly back in the summer. Neither of them were that old - Ed being only five years older than us. After lunch and a little more housework, Roger and I got out for a mid to late afternoon walk at Winton Woods.
