Since 28th July 2010 my journal has been documenting the construction of a wind farm in the Terra Alta region of Catalunya, Spain. We own and live in a Mas (finca) which is on the line of the wind turbines, and will have two of the beasts within 300 metres of our home.

I sneeked down earlier to take a blip while the workers were away from site having their lunch, so here are some nuts!

These ones are large enough to use as doorstops.... but I refrained from pocketing a souvenir, and the theft of one nut won't stop them from carrying on with the turbine construction anyway.

Having said that, they have come to a halt with the one in front of us due to some important bolts not having been delivered yet. Heads will probably roll...
