Birthday girl

So, here she is. The cooking's almost done. The beer and white wine are in the convenient outdoor fridge - plonked in the snow outside - and she's just changed into her party dress, put in her party hair clips and donned the birthday girl rosette (just in case anyone is confused). She's excited. Her friends are coming to her party.

All in all a very nice afternoon although being the cook, DJ and making an effort to keep people's glasses topped up means that I didn't get much chance to chat until most people had gone. Nice to see everyone though and we have enough leftovers to see us through tomorrow and maybe snacks for a few days after that. Mandy spent ages cleaning up while I slumped with some wine and chatted.
