Flying Over Dartmoor

Husband took me for a spin in the Eurostar from Plymouth airport to Dunkeswell, the highest airfield in England, Wonderful views of Dartmoor, which the photos don't do justice to. Even so, I was torn for choice - lots of dramatic shadows and sunlit contrasts across the vast, rough terrain that, from the air, looks deceptively like velvet. In the end, I've gone for this one, where fields on the edge of the moor were outlined with left over snow. What a super day. (Worth getting up very early to get some work done, so that I needn't feel guilty at chillin' for a few hours. And chilly it was, too!)
