Poppies with Peasticks

These poppies, all on the same plant, are growing at the end of a row of peas. I liked the way they caught the thin morning sunshine. They look good in large.

Astronomy alert: This morning at 2.05 am I captured a shot of Alpha and Beta Centauri, known here as the Pointers because of their association with the Southern Cross. Not a brilliant photo with my Powershot, but those interested will see how clear our skies can be.
