Prepared

For whatever the Arctic's about to chuck our way in the next few days. Everything's on DEFCON 1.

There's a feeling that Scotland's holding it's breath and looking northwards tonight to see what's blowing on down from there. Half the country's hoping to wake to another whiteout so they can deem their travel unnecessary and jump back under the duvet, whilst the other half's dreading a repeat of last week's disruption. I'm kind of sitting on the fence just now, thinking the various national bodies that got caught out last week are erring on the side of caution and preparing us all for something that may not turn out to be as bad. Then again, I could end up with fish on my face like a certain weatherman just before the Great Storm of 1987 if we get dumped on heavily.

Whatever happens there's probably going to be some good blippable material around tomorrow so wrap up warm and don't head out on those roads unless your journey is absolutely necessary. Either that or do head out, it's only a light dusting and our super new transport minister's got our backs covered.
