Noah's Ark

Did it! Quick crash course on importing RAW images into Photoshop, fiddled with levels, wrote an entry, checked spelling of Rhinoceros, lost entry.

GAH!!

Ben can almost say Rhinoceros. He does a very good attempt at it anyway. You'd need to hear it in context though to stand a chance of figuring out what he was trying to tell you. Somebody gave Steve's parents a Noah's Ark to keep at their house for Ben to play with when he comes round, and he spent nearly 3 hours playing with it this evening! He recovered well - the first thing he did when we got there was throw up. Twice. Once all that was out of the way it was as if nothing had happened. Have no idea where it came from although he had been a bit warm going to sleep in the afternoon and was not his usual self when he woke up...

Got here at 11.30 last night after a 4.5hr journey. Stopped once to forage in the boot of the car for food, but Ben slept the whole way so I just kept driving. He woke up when we arrived though: I took his hat and gloves and coat off and he pushed me out of the way, climbed off the bed, trotted into the hall and said, "where cat?" and spent an hour chasing cats and reacquainting himself with my parents' house while I had a cup of decaf and a sit down. We were all glad to go to bed after that. Had to wake up very quickly this morning though when I realised that I needed to move the car to let mum go to work...

Been a good day. Am trying to upload a picture to flickr from my phone but it's being slow to the point of not doing anything at all, so you don't get to see Ben being BigHands FrogBatBoy just yet. That was after his bath - he decided it was more fun being FrogBatBoy and running around with just a nappy on and his towel as a cape than it was getting ready for bed. Add a pair of red oven gloves and... well you'll just have to wait for that picture!


Apologies again for sporadic commenting, there's only so much I can cope with using the phone, and I don't have unlimited access to a computer at the moment. Am reading loads of entries though! Off to bed now, been a loooooong day...
