Early walk with the Hound....

Drove the kids, their kit and The Tyre to school!

Did a 2 hour sponsored walk with the Junior School, pulling The Tyre. We walked a mile circuit. Mr Meaden & I walked eight laps (8 miles). Some of the more energetic kids (who were not pulling a tyre did ten and eleven laps!). There was a mean little hill in the circuit, up to the Florence Nightingale Seat. This would be an easy walk if a) you weren't pulling a tyre and b) you were not holding a conversation all the way up the hill!

It was a very successful morning. The kids had an extremely happy time, and really seemed to enjoy themselves. 190 children did the walk; walking at their own pace, doing any distance they felt comfortable with. I stayed and had school lunch - roast turkey! Before heading in to work....

Just had a girlee night out. Good Food, Great Company!
