This morning I went to watch one of my best friends take part in a 10k race in Wrexham, and try my hand at taking some shots into the bargain too. Bluddy hell was it difficult - freezing cold and far too dull for me to select an un-noisy enough ISO given the amount of wintery greyness and the very fast shutter speed I needed.

Still, I got to give him some support so all is good. Not a good shot I know (I got the metering totally wrong) but it does at least show how chipper he was just 1 mile short of the finish line. He got a personal best of forty-something minutes too GET IN.
