Marjorie's ramblings

White out

It was a glorious morning here, and we had no snow while the rest of the country struggled on. After lunch I decided to go and do a "quick hit" on Aldi and Tesco because we needed a few essentials. There was nothing quick about it because so many other people were there.

On my way home it was still clear and bright in Hexham, but I could see the dark brooding skies further north. It started to snow and soon the path and roads were covered. I shot this image through double glazing as the light fell. You can see the ghosting on the head of one of the blackbirds as they try to find apples under the freshly fallen snow. I decided to convert it to mono - which wasn't much of a conversion!!
