Ghostly white

We had more snow last night, although we expected to be one of the few areas without it. I walked through the village this morning and spotted this scene down one of the back lanes. The sky was white and the air was almost white due to freezing fog.

This is an HDR image from 3 hand held shots. You can see movement in the foliage as a result. The misty globed in the sky is the sun, wondering whether to put in an appearance! It did briefly and it thinking about setting again right now.

The image has been processed in Photomatix, then converted to mono in Photoshop and a curves layer added.
