Jonquils

Smoking a cigarette on the back deck last night, I noticed white flecks in the darkness at the base of the American sycamore tree. An investigation this morning revealed that that they were jonquils.

Given that today was cold, overcast and pretty grim, and the Jaguars game against the Colts was on TV this afternoon, I went back inside for my Ricoh and took this shot.

I may well have created a record by posting the first picture of spring bulbs in December!

Sadly, as hard as they tried, the Jaguars could not wrest the game from the Colts. Peyton Manning was always in control. Whether the Jaguars can finish as AFC South champions hangs in the balance. It is a case of winning their final two games and seeing how it comes out in the wash.
