Bench with a view

Just a brief jaunt in the cold today to grab some supplies from town. Walking back through the gardens (always a better option than along Princes' Street) I noticed this odd one out. Not the best given the picture perfect view of the castle that all the other benches are pointed at. I guess all societies need an outsider/game-changer, this just may be that one for the bench world.

On another topic, managed to miss the lunar eclipse last night, that would have made an impressive shot. It does look as if plenty of other blippers managed to capture it though, so no worries.

That's about me for this evening, now just couch aided relaxing after a nice version of cider, apple & sage chicken (substituting pork & apple sausages for the chicken, mmm).

Edit: Just remembered, successfully executed the modding of my Gaggia Classic with a steam wand from a Rancilio Silvia - a good bit longer and it produces a greater gush of steam, perfect for microfoam & flat whites. I think I may have just descended into coffee pron, apologies
