In snow, nobody can hear you pee...

Bethany is what you might call a cautious 4 year old. She doesn't take on things out with her sphere of comfort with out lots of spectator experience and consideration.

She was dubious about trying sledging at first until she saw Ewan go down and then there was no stopping her. This usual lack of confidence made the sound of her giggling away whilst sitting in front of me in the sledge as we hurtled down a hill, add so much more to the experience.

Notes on writing your name...
The problem with sledging is that in general, there are no conveniences nearby. This more comes into play when you are introducing a toilet training toddler to the downhill activity. I introduced Ewan to the concept of writing his name in the snow. He can't write his name on paper as yet, so I'll let him off with the accuracy for now.
