Hoping for a handout

Just like the chickadees, titmice, and other little birds I've been digitally capturing recently, this big Tom Turkey was lingering along the trail with five or six other big birds... hoping for a handout. Handsome bird, isn't he? The patterns on his feathers are beautiful when you look at them in large. Notice that he is only standing on one leg. The other is pulled up under him. I took five or six pictures of him, and that's the way he was standing in all of them.
