Skytower or Suntower?

A change in wind direction has removed both rain and excessive humidity, at least for a few days. My morning run was therefore more pleasant than the last couple of days. Went off to the Domain (Auckland's equivalent of Hagley Park in Christchurch, or New York's Central Park; smaller than either), and was confronted with many options for the photo of the day. The statue which formed the subject of my first blip (here); a great urban view of the sun 3/4 above the horizon; reflections of the sun in a pavilion while a personal trainer held a group session in front; and the skytower bathed in the early morning sunlight.

I have chosen this latter image as it presents a great image of our city. A structure which when it was completed was the tallest building in the southern hemisphere, and is still one of the tallest. Pictured through the frame of vegetation in our largest central city park, enjoyed by so many people for so many activities.
