The University Cafe. Disappearing Glasgow

I was in a bit of a rush today so this is a kinda grab shot of the Uni Cafe in Byers Road Glasgow. I love these old style cafes but they seem to be disappearing fast. There were hundreds of these around in the 1950's / 60's my mother assures me of this. It seems that this was the meeting place for the youth of that time. Im going to photograph the surviving cafes and have small prints made and hang them in my kitchen. They serve as a small reminder of a disappearing Glasgow and a world thats changing far too fast.
