Bass Rock at Dawn

The Bass Rock is 20 miles away from Kirkcaldy across the Forth estuary and this morning it was silhouetted against a narrow strip of fiery sky. This view was from my bathroom window about 8:15am.


Today, I was close to not blipping at all. I decided when I joined that I would not post something just for the sake of posting every day if it meant posting what I considered to be an inferior imige or one I wasn't happy with.

I only took about a dozen images today, most at sunrise - which turned out to be the only time weatherwise when it wasn't dull, wet and cold. My wife thought I should post this one - so here it is.
