Thanks for the pictures

Wednesday is Daddy day so after a morning of work we all trooped down to pick up toddler from nursery. I wanted to take toddler to some sort of exhibition but this did not work out as the museum is changing its one at the moment and we could not be bothered with the cost and hassle of getting to Chichester.

However I have heard of an exhibition of a local artist on at the weekend nearby so we can get our fill of culture then I reckon.

So instead today we headed for Southsea centre, within moments of setting off Baby kicked off with a milk requirement so we headed for our favorite cafe for coffee and somewhere to feed Baby. Baby was even more over the moon when the the excellent cake maker of the cafe got hold of him and he insisted on being cuddled for quite some time.

Once all hydrated we were on our way again and once there we poked around a few of the shops. I came close to buying a rubber Homer Simpson face mask but it was a bit small and rubbish, in fact me ears are still a bit sore from trying it on.

Then we headed to a new tearoom for afternoon tea. Yes another cafe may seem a bit excessive, but Daddy day always involves cake and we had never been to this place before. It is new and quite arty, but the cake is nice and so is the tea which is served in proper china which always makes it taste better.

In between the bites of victoria sponge Toddler and I had a look at the arty bits for sale. She enjoyed looking at the bookmarks a lot whilst I busily panicked that she was going to knock over the expensive tea set next to them.
