The Ice Park

We visited the Ice Park last night. It was unbelievable. I was constantly amazed by each new site. The main theme this year is (of course) the Olympics and they chose to include other places where the Olympics have been.

The centre piece (even though it's at the edge), is The Pantheon. It's on a mountain of ice. Some other main features were a 20 meter(ish) high Buddha and a replica of the main entrance to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square in Beijing.

I may go back later in the year to look again. The temperature was a bit of a deterent.
