Sgwarnog: In the Field

Rising Sun

It's more than a week since my last sunrise blip, so it must be safe to inflict another upon you.

There wasn't that much colour variation to the sky this morning, but there was enough moisture in the atmosphere to provide an effective filter. The sun emerged as a grand orange ball during breakfast.

I like the wisp of stack plume, and the three band colour gradient on the sun - not sure what has produced that effect.

This is not a technically great shot, being at maximum zoom and aided by a bit of extra magnification through cropping, but it captures the moment.

fireball sun ~ lights up ~ another day ~ breakfast ~ orange
