Looks Good To Me

Snow Fort

It was snowing heavily all morning in our neighborhood, while there was no snow at all in town -- just three miles away. We really do have a micro-climate here.

A couple of neighborhood kids were having fun building a very sturdy snow fort. I loaned them my snow saw to help with the effort. I haven't used it since I built an igloo in the mountains with my son's Scout troop many years ago. I knew it would be useful again sometime.

Just after noon, the wind swung around 180 degrees and the temperature rapidly increased several degrees. Most of the snow was gone by dinnertime, but the fort was still there.
