In the lands of the North, where the Black Rocks stand guard against the cold sea, in the dark night that is very long, the Men of the Northlands sit by their great log fires and they tell a tale...

My work as an electronic engineer has taken me to all seven continents of the world. Some fantastic places, people and journeys, but I still can't think of anywhere else I'd rather live than North East Scotland.

My photography is mainly inspired by the wildlife and landscapes of the area which are always changing with the weather and seasons.

Hopefully blipfoto can give me some incentive to improve my photography and prove a bit of fun along the way!
