Hello! Welcome to my blip world!
I've been an avid photo enthusiast most of my life, following in the footsteps of my dad who often had one of his cameras with him. I can still remember countless sessions with him posing all of us for a portrait, his bulky Twin Lens Rolleiflex on a tripod, or filming 16mm home movies. And then there was the waiting -- waiting for all this FILM to be developed. I think photography demanded much more care and patience back then if you didn't want to waste film!
I now live in a small town in the Pacific Northwest where I've raised two boys (who are now two handsome and outstanding young men) and run my own web design business. The area's abundance of natural beauty, along with its open space and light is a photographer's dream. I carry my Olympus XZ-1 with me wherever I go.
Besides photography, music is a very big part of my life: I sing with a local women's choral ensemble, I've played piano since I was seven, studied cello for the past 8 years, and recently, joined a small, community orchestra.
I love being a blipper! A big thank you to everyone in this wonderfully creative community! And extra special thanks to Connections for introducing me to the amazing world of blipfoto!
