Hi! I'm Cheeseminer: parent-to-adult-sons, Quaker, former software engineer, karate black belt; with a penchant for trains, model making, folk music and modern board games.

A Day Worth Recording is my first ever diary that has lasted beyond a week. For me, blip is a journal not a gallery so the photographs reflect the day's events rather than any attempt at photographic prowess.

2014: We've given up our jobs in the flatlands of Cambridge and bought a B&B in Malvern. A huge house and garden crying out for restoration, but there are hills, yes actual gradient, on the doorstep.

2020: Fewer hills-as-novelty blips now but a continuing collection of lifted floorboards as we refurbish.  The garden is largely restored and regularly open to the public (between apocalypses).

2023: Most of the major house works are complete so rather hoping that the garden, and possibly even the model railways might make more of an appearance.  We might even have holidays - whatever they are.
