An exile from the west of Scotland I've been living as an incomer for the past 44 years in Fife. Working in Edinburgh didn't damaged me too much, but now I'm retired they can't touch me any more.

After 365 consecutive blips I'm still doing Blipfoto. I think I must have got used to it.

730 consecutive blips and I'm still here, although flagging a little. Can I continue to find anything remotely interesting to photograph on a daily basis? Based on the evidence in my journal I'd say no.

1095 consecutive blips reached and I've definitely exhausted the desire to continue blipping every day. As I am now not blipping every day it will be some time before I reach another milestone. It feels rather liberating I have to say.

1460 blips completed now but certainly not in any way consecutively. Not that I'm worried about that any more although I still get twitchy after a few days of not having posted a photograph. I'm sure I'll get over that eventually.

Five years worth of blips reached but as the gaps appear between blips it's taking longer to achieve. This begs the question – will I live long enough to get awarded a red camera, and will I even care by then...?

Six years and still going. The gaps are still appearing but so is the occasional, half decent photograph.

Seven years and still hanging in there. The gaps are becoming more frequent, the half decent photographs less so.

Eight years and it's not getting any easier, my hair is getting greyer and I'm running out of candles and like the cake, my photographs are repeating on me...
